Veil
This was a VERY time consuming process but worth it seeing as similar veils cost upwards of $200.
I started with the top layer and used a toothpick to apply the glue to the back of each stone. Then, starting at the comb, I applied each jewel to the fabric. I applied the stones at equal intervals all the way around the edge top layer and then, using a slightly larger stone, did the same around the edge of the bottom layer.
Be sure not to hit the stones until the glue dries which takes a minute or so. An embroidery hoop would have been very useful!

Card Box
I got this idea from the movie UP! and thought it was adorable. I figured it would be a cheap and easy idea for a card box. Plus, if Matt's not opposed, we can use it for when we buy a house!
One note: The acrylic paint is a little tough because it's hard to wash off if you mess up. Also, if you have skinny little hands like mine, your hand print turns out kind of lame compared to your fiance's!

Bubble Favors
It was a fairly simple project, although tedious and time consuming. I cut the ribbons into 4" lengths and threaded the charm through both colors. I then wrapped the ribbons around the top of the bubbles and tied it tight. I used masking tape to hold the ribbon close to the bubbles during storage and to keep it from sticking out all of the place.
Supplies:
1. Bubbles
Michael's - $29.99 / 100 pieces
I used 40% off coupon for this too which saved me about $12.
2. Charms
Michael's - $6.99 / 50 pieces (X2)
3. Ribbon
Michael's - $1.99 / 3.5meters (I believe) (X6)
I did 3 of each color, royal blue and orange.
Total Cost: $55.91 +tax
Time: 4-5 hours ish

Centerpieces
The whole process is pretty self explanatory but...
We cut the ribbon to size (about 8") and used fabric glue to stick the edges together. After letting it dry for a few minutes we cut the foam to side (about 3"X3") and put it in each vase along with some water.
We filled the flowers from the inside our starting with one almost directly in the middle of the display. From there we put the candles together and scattered the rose petals... easy enough!
I guess the only warnings are:
- make sure you get the foam for live flowers. The stuff
at the dollar store only really works for fake ones.
- and don't forget the water in the vases! Especially if
you're doing it the night before like we are!
