I sadly made these BEFORE Matt decided that he wanted to change our colors. The orange is correct, but now we're using blue instead of red.
I created the design using a combination of Microsoft Powerpoint and Microsoft Digital Imaging Suite. I had received a 100 free postcard offer from Vistaprint and took advantage of that. They cards also came with free envelopes so all I had to do was buy stamps.
Our invitations were designed by a family friend and printed using 123print.com. When it comes down to it I kind of wish I had designed and ordered everything myself. I tried my best to convey my color choices and such through email and pictures but they still didn't turn out quite right. The blue looks more navy/purple and the orange was too red. Oh well, not much I can do now.
With all the discounts I get it would have been cheaper to go through Vistaprint plus, if they got messed up the only person I would have to blame is myself.
Vistaprint was also used to design my escort cards. Since the invitations were PDF protected I had to find a special software to pull the graphics off of it in high resolution. After that, all I had to do was take bits and pieces and insert them into the template.
I'm going to probably use an orange pen to write in each person's name and table number and am hoping my handwriting is good enough!
Also made on Vistaprint... my photo share cards! I essentially just used a business card template and altered the organization and wording to fit what I needed.
Their premium business cards were on sale 250 for $3.99. I didn't really need that many but it was the cheapest way to go. We used weddingturtle.com for our site which seems to work fantastic. I'll let you know once we start uploading more photos!
I LOVE my thank you cards. Again, Vistaprint (I love them too!). I had recently bought a $10 for $50 VP coupon so I splurged on them a little; nicer paper and such. It's the first thing I ordered with my new last name on it! =)
This is another reason why I wish I had gone with Vistaprint from the beginning. I could have gotten a whole set in this design. Oh well... next time. lol
